Halesowen College Campus

Since 2008, the College, with 4000 students has replaced outdated ‘60s buildings with a series of high spec facilities. A refectory, health and social care suite was followed by a block housing science laboratories, animal care finalities, IT suites and a learning resource centre.

1. Teaching and Performing Arts Centre- (Block 13)

The fifth project has a fanfare grand entrance to welcome students and the public to the £2.3 million building, which includes teaching accommodation and performance space right at its heart.

There are teaching areas on the ground floor and a multi-use space upstairs with room for an audience of nearly 200, combined with a mezzanine viewing gallery and exhibition space above.

2. Block 8

Partial demolition of existing Block O and the construction of a new two storey refectory and teaching block including all associated mechanical and electrical installations, new lift installations together with associated external works, drainage and services.

3. Block 9

A new building delivering state of the art IT facilities and science laboratories, with an animal management/care suite including reptile and aviary facilities. The works also include external accommodation areas and support facilities.

4. Block 10

New Three Storey Teaching Block including Intuitive Learning Centre and Travel & Tourism Classroom.

5. Block 11

Construction of a three storey new-build teaching block including social learning zone with shop, café and car parking.
