Riding for the Disabled, Shrewley

Construction of the National Training Centre, Lowlands at Shrewley, Nr Warwick for Riding for the Disabled (RDA).

The purpose built two storey training centre features spacious offices and training facilities.

New facilities also included a major renovation of space adjoining the indoor school to provide a covered gallery with raked seating for a 100-plus classroom, breakout rooms and a new outdoor arena.

The building was opened by HRH Princess Anne President of the RDA and Project Patron for the Centre said “this is a centre for the future, which will allow us to make much better use of the experience and skills gained in the RDA over the past 50 years,” she added.  “Those who responded to the challenge of raising funds should pat themselves on the back for what they have achieved.”

RDA Chief Executive Ed Bracher commented “It has been a ten-year vision to make this place happen and I’m grateful to all the people who have been involved, not least Greswolde Construction who has been a brilliant partner to work with,” he says. “The development looks incredibly impressive and we couldn’t be more grateful for Greswolde’s hard work and flexibility, enabling us to stay open throughout the building work and for carrying out the whole project without a single glitch.”
